Hi, I’m Kat!

I’m a family, newborn and maternity photographer. As a mom of two, I know how busy life with young kids can be, which is why I keep the experience simple, relaxed, and stress-free.

My love for documenting life started when I was about 10 years old, making “movies” with my mom’s giant VHS camera. Being able to capture real life and watch it back felt like magic, and that fascination never left.

I built a career as a filmmaker and photographer for brands. But having kids of my own gave photography a whole new meaning.

The chubby little hands. The wayward curl. The way their eyes are always on you, like you’re the most important thing in their world… I want to document all of it.

I think a good photograph should help you remember more than what your kids looked like. It should bring you back to who they were.

They don’t need to be perfectly dressed, perfectly behaved, or looking at the camera. My job is to create a space where your family can relax, be yourselves and have fun. I’ll meet the chaos with a calm energy and let your family’s personality lead the way.
